Benefits and Challenges of using Blogspot for Teaching
Benefits:
- Free and easy to signup
- Increase interactivity between teachers and students
- Easy to share videos, pictures and links that are useful for students to use as their study references
- Students can post their questions directly to their teachers
- Teachers can monitor their students writing skills.
Challenges:
- Teachers need to spend time uploading their materials online
- Teachers are not able to upload attachments such as word documents and powerpoint slides using blogs
- Teachers who are not computer-savvy may need to spend time learing how to use the blog
